Things People Ask

How long does a typical project take?

Scope-dependent. A color consultation is usually two weeks. A full kitchen runs ten to fourteen weeks. Whole-home renovations run six to nine months. I will give you a real timeline at the consultation, not a guess.

Do you handle the contractor, or do I find one?

I handle contractor selection and coordination on every renovation. You manage one relationship, me, and I manage the trades. That's the entire point of full-service.

What does the free consultation include?

About sixty to ninety minutes on-site or by video. I walk the space, talk through how you actually use it, and I leave you with a rough scope and budget direction. No commitment after that.

Where do you work?

Primarily Richmond, the West End, Henrico, Short Pump, and Midlothian. Further out by exception. Ask.

What's the typical project size?

Anywhere from a $2,000 paint consultation to a $500,000 whole-home renovation. Most projects fall between $25,000 and $150,000. If your budget is tight, say so, and I will tell you honestly whether I am the right fit.

Do you only do residential?

Both. Roughly two-thirds of my work is residential, one-third is commercial: offices, restaurants, retail, hospitality. See the Commercial Design page for details.
